WHAT IS EXPECTED
Don’t worry, we don't ask you to sign your life away, this is just to let you know what we ask from you, and what you can expect from us.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel a driving lesson, please call or text as soon as possible.
If you cancel more than 12 hours in advance, there is no problem at all, no fee will be charged.
If you cancel with less than 12 hours notice, we will expect you to pay £10.
If you cancel with less than 4 hours notice, we will expect you to pay for the full lesson.
This is because we could have fitted another client in that time slot, & therefore we lose money that we could have earned.
(think of it like this, if your employer said to you one morning, “I don’t need you this afternoon, so you can go home", you would expect him to pay you, so its just the same with us, if you cancel, we expect to be paid, or we lose our wages for that time)
We actually have one of the shortest cancellation periods in the business, so please respect it.
If you do not give us this warning of a cancellation, we will charge you for the lesson, & it must be paid before the next lesson starts. Remember: all it takes is a quick phone call or text!
On a more serious note, if you arrive for a driving lesson & your instructor thinks you have been drinking or taken drugs, you will not be allowed to drive the car, & you will have to pay for the lesson. Please remember, if you drink heavily in the evening, you may still be "under the influence" the next morning.
If we ever need to change or cancel your lessons
We will tell you as soon as possible.
We will only cancel in the case of genuine emergency or breakdown.
We will try to offer you a lesson as soon as possible to suit you.
If we are going to be more than 10 minutes late, we will text or call you so you know what is happening. Life doesn’t always run smoothly when driving in Birmingham , but we try our best to make it run as smoothly as possible.
What You Can Expect From Us.
All driving instructors must abide by the Driving Standards Agency's “Instructor's code of practice”.
Over and above this standard, we will
Provide a car that has never had anyone smoke in for your lessons
Never take phone calls during lessons
Never make phone calls during your lessons
Never make promises we cannot keep
Always keep you up to date on your progress
Always ensure we have a modern, roadworthy car for your lessons
Always attempt to contact you if we are running more than 10minutes late
Always answer your questions to the best of our ability
Always structure your learning around your needs
Remember, you are paying us - and for this you are getting the use of our car, and our expertise, never be afraid to make the full use of the service you are paying for. If there’s anything you want to know, ask ! !
We also have a "library" of books, CDROM's, & DVD's which we lend out to regular clients, to help you prepare for your driving theory test, Hazard Perception test, & practical driving test.
All we ask is that you dont make any marks in the books, & return them when you no longer need them so that others can use them.
